2008 CDGA Four-Ball Match

General Information

 

1.                  Seedings

 

1.1.                        Seedings done by total handicap indexes

1.2.                        Defending champions (if playing as a team) seeded #1

1.3.                        Seedings adjusted where necessary to ensure two teams from same club do not play each other in 1st or 2nd round (if possible)

2.                  1st and 2nd round matches

2.1.                        1st and 2nd round matches to be played at Battlefield, Bear Trace, Black Creek, Brainerd, Brown Acres, Champions Club, Cleveland Country Club, Council Fire, Creeks Bend, Eagle Bluff, Lookout Mountain, Moccasin Bend, Signal Mountain, Valleybrook, or Windstone

2.2.                        Higher seeded of two teams in match chooses location of match from above list.  Higher seeded team is team with lower seeding number (example, in match #16 vs #17, #16 is higher seeded team).

2.3.                        Choosing team may not choose home course (example, team representing Valleybrook may not choose to play match at Valleybrook)

2.4.                        Higher seeded team should contact lower seeded team to schedule match.  Choosing team must also schedule tee time with pro shop where match is to be played.  If higher seeded team does not know how to get in contact with lower seeded team they should call pro shop of home course of lower seeded team and ask for assistance.

2.5.                        All players must pay cart/range fees prior to beginning match

2.6.                        USGA four-ball match play rules will govern play

2.7.                        All play will be from Championship tees of each of the courses listed above

2.8.                        1st round matches must be completed by end of day, Tuesday, July 29

2.9.                        2nd round matches must be completed by end of day, Thursday, August 14

2.10.                    Winning team should report results to webmaster@chattanoogatpc.com or call 400.8400 and leave message.  Please report date of match, location of match, and final result.
